What a wonderful family time you had in Germany! I love the little video too... How nice to be able to reconnect with everyone! And comforting that you and your dad could share the time...
I understand what you mean about feeling your social value going up with family. I feel the same way with mine. It's so special to be with people who you look like (and yes you do look like your aunt!) and who know you so well.
